Harness height

Kids grow rapidly in the first few years but it is their torso length that will affect how often you need to move their harness straps.


When Rear facing the harness should be AT or ABOVE (within 25mm) of their shoulder NEVER below.


When Forward facing the harness should be in the slot closest to their shoulder whether this is above or below (within 25mm)


Adjustable headrests should not be touching the child's shoulders .

Some seats have extra fabric around their headrests and this is ok, so long as the firm part of the headrest is not impacting their shoulders or pushing the child/baby forward.


Check harness height regularly and ALWAYS if swapping the seat between children even if they are the same age.
